LEVANTAMENTO E CONSERVAÇÃO DE AVES EM PROPRIEDADE RURAL: OS SERVIÇOS ECOSSISTÊMICOS COMO MEDIAÇÃO

Abstract

The Cerrado have not obtained the global biodiversity hotspot title without the birds help. The birds have important ecological role and they offer many services to the mankind. Besides, the bird beauty can enchant other ones that to get looking for them in their leisure and vacation time. In this way, the birds can be included in local economy since they can to give support to the means of production and rise the incomes. Despite of this, some economy sectors apparently road a wrong way and contribute to environment and bird extinction. The agriculture is a example of that. The aim of this research was to make a bird survey in a rural property, associate ecosystem services with those birds and promote the biodiversity conservation. That study area is located in a singular and less surveyed Cerrado region. Many bird species potentially to improve the ecotourism and sustainability in the region were surveyed after 100 hours in field study. Many contributions to improve the information about regional bird biodiversity also be made. Those findings support actions in favor of the Cerrado conservation beyound of government conservation units by valuing all components of an ecological community.
